💎Serialization
Serialization is an innovative way for artists to bring their authentic artwork into the digital space and create limited edition prints from the original.
Unlike fractionalization, where each OT holder will claim a small piece of ownership of the original NFT, holder of ST will have full ownership of a limited and serialized print of the original NFT - the concept of serialization is not dissimilar to buying limited & numbered artwork or luxury goods.
When an NFT is serialized, the original NFT will also be pledged into a vault with LIQNFT and the artist will be able to specify the key economic terms of the ST issuance such as print supply, price and more.
After an NFT has been serialized, the ST will then be minted through a primary sale facilitated by LIQNFT for buyers. Once the STs are minted, buyers and sellers can freely exchange their STs on the LIQNFT marketplace.
